Round 1 of the GCC Cup took place in Bahrain on October 20th & 21st and it was an amazingly high-quality start to this season’s series.
This round was for the Under 16s age group and we had teams from Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain.
Featuring some of the best private academies in the GCC region, the standard was expected to be high and for 2 days they battled it out to produce our Cup and Plate Winners.
Congratulations to Tekkers from Bahrain who won the game in a thrilling final against ESG from Oman, both teams could have won the cup but Tekkers were a little more clinical in the game.
The plate was won by Juventus from Oman narrowly beating Pass from Abu Dhabi – 2 great teams with very little to separate them during the match.
